If you have a website and social media pages for your business, it’s time to optimize them so that they can be fully utilized. Each of these platforms should have the right content, from the media to the words. You should also identify what related keywords to your business are being searched the most by individuals. These keywords should then appear on your website and social media profiles so that when people search for them, you will be on their results pages.

  • Optimized Website

    Your website should appear on the first page of search engine results when people search for the keyword. This can be done with the help of Search Engine Optimization where your pages’ titles, meta descriptions, and keywords are optimized to appear on search engine results pages, more commonly known as SERPs, which are the results we see on search engines when we search for a particular keyword.

Furthermore, you should also consider website optimization to ensure your content should contain all the information about you, your products, their prices, where you are located, and how you can be contacted. It should also be responsive on any device, from the PCs, tablets and smartphones. By responsive, we mean that it adjusts to whatever device is being used to browse it. Since there are those who use their mobile phones for browsing, it should also be mobile-friendly, so your audience won’t have to zoom in and out across your pages and click the wrong buttons.

To further optimize your website, you should also pay attention to these elements:

  • Headlines – Are they related to what your company stands for?

  • Texts and Buttons – Is your Call to Action visible? Is the font and size of your text readable? Are your buttons and links clickable and lead to the right pages?

You might be asking why you need to optimize your social media accounts when you already have a website. However, social media plays a critical part in every digital marketing strategy, especially when when it comes to selling your products, reaching further your target audience, and driving traffic into your website. Plus, there’s the fact that people are on social media daily which means more chances of getting seen online.

  • Facebook Ads and Google Adwords

    These two involve putting up paid ads. Facebook Ads work by helping users find the businesses that are related to their searches, what they’re interested in and their online behavior. On the other hand, you bid keywords on Google Adwords so that your ads are displayed along with the results when people search for the keywords. Whenever someone clicks on your ad, you are then charged.
